In addition to our indoor hitting area in the Pro Shop of MGCC, we are now equipped with the latest technology from Flightscope to better analyze your golf swing, fit you for new clubs and even play real golf courses!
With over a decade of teaching experience our Head Professional Patrick Law is ready to analyze your golf swing from the comfort of the Pro Shop. Now with the ability to analyze crucial numbers associated with each shot made by a student, Patrick has never been more excited to show students the progress that they can make and how much more they can enjoy the game. From past experiences and teaching/fitting seminars Patrick has seen how the impact of either properly fitting a golfer or accurately focusing on a certain aspect of their swing can give them immediate results. This process is made so much easier with technology provided by Flightscope. Not only is it easier for the teacher by it also shows and quantifies results for the student.
In early testing with a MGCC Member this week, the member was not getting the distance from their driver that they were expecting or used to getting. After quickly determining it was due to the high spin rate and making the student aware of what would cause the spin to be high, Patrick and the student got the golfer to gain 20 yards of carry and 27 yards overall with the same swing speed just one swing later. These results are posted below. This type of situation is not unusual and being properly taught and fitted could have you see the same gains in your golf game!

Powered by E6 software the Flightscope Mevo+ offers you the ability to play 5 world class golf courses from the Pro Shop at Minnedosa Golf & Country Club. This function requires some help from our Professional Staff but come down this week and test out a 3 hole challenge for FREE and see how it all works for yourself!

This technology comes with Skill assessments, mini games and so much more all available to the public. Golf Season is right around the corner so we hope to not be confined to the Pro Shop for much longer.
